Sheena Koops teaches at Bert Fox Community High School, and has taught in urban, First Nations and rural Saskatchewan within private, band, community, and public schools for over twenty years. She is a published author (Voice of the Valley, 2006), but Sheena and her husband Michael agree that their best accomplishments are their children: Victoria (and her husband, Tyler), Moira (and her husband, Chris), and Arwen. Sheena was shortlisted for Canada's 2015 Governor General Award for History Teaching. She is a strong proponent of Action Research and is the Past President of The Doctor Stirling McDowell Foundation for Research into Teaching.
